The Man and the Boy chose a new "big boy" bike together. It's lime green. I've bribed him to learn to ride by promising to buy the new Angry Birds Space game on the iPad.
The Girl is pretty interested in learning, too.

Have you tried "Flintstoning?" You take off the pedals and let them practice for a few hours/days getting the feel for pushing themselves forward with their feet. They quickly realize that crashes can be easily avoided if they just put their feet down.
